| Explanation | Dolls made of clay are called clay figurines, of which more than 2,000 have been found. They are made in the shape of a board with arms outstretched. They vary in size from about 4 centimeters for the smallest to over 30 centimeters for the largest. They are thought to have been tools used in festivals and prayers to pray for a good harvest, and many have been excavated from the mounds. |
